Day 7: Back Home
We knew
we could not do anything more. The cold was increasing. Gult was incessantly cluttering his teeth. I was unable to walk any long distance due to the sprain in my ankles. All the roads higher up were closed.
But more importantly, we had reached the zenith of our trip. We didn’t want even an hour where boredom could even be felt. So we took the right decision to cut short our trip and
head back home. With an exception of lunch break, 11 hours of pain-in-the-butt bus journey left us at Haridwar. Frenzied inquiry with gult digging in the railway time table, we got the right tickets available. One day stay at delhi was spent fulfilling small desires like eating at Mc-D, coffee at Barista, watching “Bluffmaster” and yes catching up with good old JP Singh.
